Tennis Ball Machine Available for Residents to Use

A couple of years ago, several Habersham residents banded together to purchase a tennis ball machine. This machine is available for any Habersham resident, who pays the required membership fees, to use.

We charge an initial membership fee per household using the machine For an initial fee of $100, you and any of your household members can use the machine. Some features of the machine include:

• 200 ball capacity

• Remote control to start/stop machine operation

• Ball speed and frequency

• Elevation control

• Variable top spin and back spin control

We reserve the right to charge a fee each year to all members for the continued use of the machine. All fee money is used towards the purchase and maintenance of the ball machine. To date, we have only had to charge the initial membership fee to fund the operation of the machine and have never charged any additional annual fees for using the machine.

There are no limitations to the number of times or amount of time up you can use the machine. Use is on a first-come-first- use basis. The machine is located in the shed attached to court 2, and everyone who pays the membership fee receives the combination to the shed to access the machine.
